## Essentials
- Base URL: https://sovmail.co.uk/api/v1 — REST over HTTPS, JSON, `Authorization: Bearer <key>`
- Given only an API key, start with `GET /api/v1/account`: it returns a valid from-address and anything blocking live sending
- Send: `POST /api/v1/email` → HTTP 202 `{ "id", "status" }`
- Keys: `smk_live_…` delivers; `smk_test_…` is a sandbox that validates and records but never delivers
- The from-address must be on a domain the account has verified via DNS (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- No open or click tracking; links are never rewritten
